How to Apply Hozon Finishes 2c hardwax oil & Natural Wood 2K
Preparation
- Ensure the surface is free from old finishes, dirt, and stains.
- For pigmented products: Use max 180-grit sandpaper for best adhesion.
- Mix only the needed amount of oil. Use within 2-3 hours at 20°C.
Application
- Spread oil using a plastic card, rubber squeegee, roller, or brush.
- Let it absorb for 20-30 minutes, adding more on dry areas.
- Work in with a nylon pad for even distribution.
- Wipe off excess with a lint-free cloth or soft polishing paper.
- Let cure. Apply a second layer for high-wear surfaces.
Extra Steps for Natural Wood 2c hardwax oil
- Wipe off white streaks for a cleaner finish—or leave them for a light white tint!
Curing Times
- Natural Line: 14 days before exposure to liquids.
- Sensei Base Oil: Reapply after 24-48 hours.
